Request
Hello! So I am totally excited to read this months book... but I haven't got it yet! I had to put a request in at the library and I am still about 17 people away from getting it in my hands. I have a feeling that this could happen again... so my request today is that we could start choosing the books a little more in advance? What do you think? I don't want to be a bother, but I really want to start participating again :) -- ASHLEE

I know how hard it is to pick a book in the first place, let alone early, but I feel for you Ashlee, I'm 32nd on the waiting list so I'll be skipping this month's discussion. But if it helps deciding, I've been reading some great books lately:

The Missing series by Haddix,
Hunger Games series,
Gone by Michael Grant.
Oh and if you haven't all read it, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle is amazing.
Well, They're all series (except true confessions) but they are really good. But most of them are at a lower reading level- like fifth grade- but I guess those are the books I love best
So take it if you want, I just thought to get some ideas out there so we can maybe get a list going so we know the books ahead of time, like Ashlee suggested. I dunno
