Reading the background information and discussion questions has helped me appreciate the book more! All along reading it, even though it's like my 3rd time, I still get confused at points and frustrated with the characters. Reading those explanations and insights has really opened my eyes to what C.S. Lewis was really saying, and has especially caused me to reflect on my natural impulses, particularly that I don't want them to become a permanent part of me.
